VILLA SAMARA

This beautiful two-bedroom villa revolves around the spaces for entertainment - the kitchen and living room are centered between a generous deck & pool on the North, and the two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the South.

We have allowed for ample storage in order to declutter the home, often integrated into the double-thickness walls of the living space and hallway. Most internal doorways have been fitted with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors in order to optimize space usage, while the entire front façade boasts light pivot doors, easy to open in order to ensure best cross ventilation of Koh Tao's NE-SW winds.

The bathrooms feature corner windows that traverse onto the ceiling, thusly also acting as skylights, allowing the surrounding natural context to visually infiltrate the internal spaces without breaking the threshold. Another method of bringing nature into the house is through a series of jardinières, integrated into the showers (allowing for easy watering). 

To add a touch of character, we have integrated comfortable reading nooks in the window of the guest bedroom, and a relaxing hammock cantilevered above the pool.
